What our Deacons are Doing!
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayerfully stitched Prayer Shawls to comfort and give warmth to a hurting member of our congregation or community.
May this shawl be for you a sign of God’s loving, healing presence. May it warm you when you are weary; may it surround you with encouragement when you are discouraged, may it assure you of God’s care and comfort when your loved ones and you are in pain. May it remind you that God loves you and that you are surrounded by the prayers of others. Made especially for you by the hands and the praying hearts of the Prayer Shawl Ministry with each stitch prayed over.

Shepherd Program
Each member of our congregation is assigned a Deacon "Shepherd" to be there for them in case of a need for help. Everybody needs somebody sometime!

Transportation Pool
The Transportation Pool will provide rides to medical appointments in our area. As availability permits.

Back-to-School Fair
Presbyterians have a long history of emphasizing education, and our church is no exception. For the past several years, even through the pandemic as best we could, our church members have donated money and time to fill brand new backpacks with brand new basic school supplies, which we give away on a Saturday in August. This program is our way of wishing local families many blessings on their new school year, saving them money and time they can no doubt use on other necessities, and sending them out equipped for success. Any family is welcome to come on that day and let their each of their children choose a backpack and fill it with the supplies that they choose. In past years we have given away spiral notebooks, binders, loose-leaf paper, Ticonderoga pencils, erasers, white board markers, washable markers, crayons, pencil cases, glue and glue sticks, and more. If you would like to help out at the Fair, just email our office. If you have school-aged children, you will definitely want to stop by!
