What our Deacons are Doing!

Prayerfully stitched Prayer Shawls to comfort and give warmth to a hurting member of our congregation or community.

Each member of our congregation is assigned a Deacon "Shepherd" to be there for them in case of a need for help. Everybody needs somebody sometime!

Helping those taking care of infirm family members.  We visit with the caregiver to help them feel less isolated, run errands, and help in other ways that are needed.

The Transportation Pool will provide rides to medical appointments in our area.  As availability permits.

May this shawl be for you a sign of God’s loving, healing presence. May it warm you when you are weary; may it surround you with encouragement when you are discouraged, may it assure you of God’s care and comfort when your loved ones and you are in pain. May it remind you that God loves you and that you are surrounded by the prayers of others.
